The past year was a year of change at cogon, and we are pleased that we have been able to achieve improvements for you through the changes, because your satisfaction is our goal! Consequently, we have optimized our internal processes for better customer service and we have developed our products further and can now offer new solutions for additional finance areas. In addition, changing the organizational structure of cogon from a stock company to a private GmbH has put the company on a solid foundation that ensures that cogon remains sustainable. At the same time we are now able to create many synergies from our inclusion into the Hanse Orga Group and from moving our headquarters from Frankfurt to Hamburg. As a consequence of all the changes cogon was able to realize a positive year-end result for 2013. For more details, please see the following sections:
Improved Customer Service & Support
Customer satisfaction is our priority. For this reason, we have added staff to our Helpdesk team in 2013 to improve both reachability and reaction times. We have also adjusted our processes and have introduced a ticket system to be able to quickly provide feedback to your questions and error reports. Moreover, we have set up slots for "Customer Remote Support". You can use them for specific support services, for example, for setting up new users in your system. Support will remain an important issue for us also in the future.

Keeping Pace with Changing Trends – Our Product Development
New regulations (e.g., SEPA), the growth of a company, integration of new companies, etc., bring new challenges to the financial management of an organization. We continuously develop our software to always provide the best possible solution for you to grow with these requirements.
In the last year, we thus added new functions and add-ons to our payment solution EBsec®. They include, amongst others, an SDD Mandate Management, the automatic hash value matching and the connection of SAP systems via a RFC function.
Moreover, we have included two entirely new products in the cogon portfolio, turning cogon into a full-range supplier:
The new solutions will be launched in the middle of the year. They will be available as web-based applications.
A Contact Person Close to You – Our New Sales Structure
In the course of the integration of cogon in the Hanse Orga Group, we have also expanded our sales structures regionally so that you have someone to talk to in your area. In addition, our account managers are now in a position to deliver comprehensive advice as they cover all three fields of expertise of the Hanse Orga Group: the multi-ERP solutions of cogon, the SAP add-ons of Hanse Orga AG and the consulting expertise of SymQ GmbH for SAP Treasury. The new staff members will introduce themselves to you in the next few weeks.
